He previously concluded a transformative tenure as UNDP Resident Representative in the Maldives (2021-2025). With over two decades of international development experience, 15 years in the Asia-Pacific region, he has guided UNDP from aid delivery to becoming a strategic government partner. In the Maldives, he spearheaded the Integrated National Financing Framework and mobilized over $5.5 billion for sustainable investment. His expertise includes green\/blue economy financing, governance (justice and gender), and he has served in leadership roles\u200b in UNDP in the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia.
