លោក Shakeel Ahmad ជាសេដ្ឋវិទូ ដែលមានបទពិសោធន៍ជាង ២០ឆ្នាំ នៅក្នុងវិស័យអភិវឌ្ឍន៍អន្តរជាតិ។  កន្លងមក លោកធ្លាប់បម្រើការជាអ្នកជំនាញកម្មវិធីប្រចាំប្រទេសរបស់ UNDP ដែលមានទីតាំងនៅទីក្រុងបាងកក និងទទួលបន្ទុកជា អ្នកគ្រប់គ្រងកម្មវិធីនានានៅអាស៊ី-ប៉ាស៊ីហ្វិក។ លោក ក៏ធ្លាប់កាន់តំណែង ជាអ្នកតំណាងរង ស្តីទី នៃកម្មវិធីអភិវឌ្ឍន៍សហប្រជាជាតិប្រចាំប្រទេសស្រីលង្កាផងដែរ។ នៅ UNDP ប្រទេសអាហ្វហ្គានីស្ថាន លោកជាទីប្រឹក្សានយោបាយ និងនៅ UNDP ប្រទេសប៉ាគីស្ថាន ជាជំនួយការតំណាងប្រចាំប្រទេស (Assistant Resident Representative)។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន លោកបានកាន់តំណែងជាតំណាងរង UNDP ប្រចាំនៅកម្ពុជា ចាប់តាំងពីខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២៣។ លោក បានទទួលសញ្ញាបត្រថ្នាក់អនុបណ្ឌិតផ្នែកគ្រប់គ្រងការអភិវឌ្ឍពីសាលាសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និងវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រនយោបាយទីក្រុងឡុងដ៍។

Mr. Shakeel Ahmad is a development economist with more than 20 years of experience in international development.  Previously, he served as Country Programme Specialist at UNDP’s Bangkok Regional Hub, where he oversaw programmes across Asia and the Pacific. He has held roles with UNDP Sri Lanka as acting Deputy Resident Representative, UNDP Afghanistan as Policy Advisor, and UNDP Pakistan as Assistant Resident Representative. He has been in his current role as the UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Cambodia since July 2023. He holds a master’s degree in Development Management from London School of Economics and Political Science.
