Mrs. Mary Kent is a Skills and Employability Specialist with the ILO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. She has over 20 years’ experience in international skills systems development, spanning policy, programme delivery and international skills partnerships across Europe, Middle-East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. Previously Vice Principal of one of the UK’s largest vocational institutions, she holds qualifications in Project Management, Business, International Relations, and the Political Economy; and an Executive Masters in Business Administration (MBA).  Her key areas of specialisation include skills policy responses for the green and blue economies and economic transition, sector skills bodies, public-private skills partnerships, community-based entrepreneurship, gender inclusion, and lifelong learning.
